About Us

VolunteerWilliamsburg.org was founded and encouraged by members of The Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance 2006 Community Leadership Service class. The concept was developed to fill the needs of local non-profit and municipal organizations by connecting them with career experienced volunteers who have high level talents.

At VolunteerWilliamsburg.org, we firmly believe that people like to help each other. In fact, we’re so confident in this belief that we’ve made it our mission to help volunteers find organizations who appreciate their skill sets, respect their time commitments and give them the fulfillment of service to the community.

VolunteerWilliamsburg.org is headed by a board of community leaders, and is funded privately.
